About Super Zinc

A new offering from Silox India stable of products, Super Zinc is a composite Zinc Oxide which is coated with specialty chemicals with high surface area.

Suitable for rubber products, like bicycle tires, tire tread/side wall, rollers, conveyor belt products.

With traditional accelerators, Super Zinc offers better abrasion resistance, tensile strength, and elongation at break. The improvement of these parameters can be over 10-20%, depending on the recipe.

Due to its high surface area, it is also good for transparent rubber products like rubber bands, shoe soles etc.

Super Zinc is free flowing in nature, which facilitates fast incorporation along with good dispersion in rubber mixing. It has good thermal conductivity and facilitates improved mixing in silica filled compounds.

Silox India has carried out multiple application test between Super Zinc & White Seal Zinc Oxide (French Process) available in the market and the results have demonstrated significant improvement.
